Questions you might have
Our webmaster graduated and I've hired a new one. How do I get access for my new webmaster?
You'll need to send in a request to Nodehelp, following the instructions here. Be sure to let us know who the former webmaster was if you want that person's permissions removed.
What's a comment?
A comment is a bit of instruction in the code of your page. You use a tag to make it invisible to people who are viewing the page, but people who look at the HTML will be able to see it. In HTML, the opening comment tag is: <!-- and the closing comment tag is -->. (Those characters show up because they are formatted as character entities).
How often should I update things like faculty bios and publications?
It's a good idea to review faculty bios, publications, and awards at least once a year. It's a good idea to make sure that the interior pages of your site have current and accurate information regarding staff and faculty at the same time.
There's an error on the main SEAS web site. How can I correct it?
Use the Comments form on the SEAS site to submit comments and corrections.
